In Greene County district court Suzanne Marie Eliserio, 55, of Altoona was granted a deferred judgment Aug. 4 after she changed her plea to guilty to a charge of operating while intoxicated- first offense. She was placed on informal probation for one year. She must complete the recommendations of a substance abuse evaluation she has already undergone, and she must complete a community college drinking drivers school. A judgment was entered for a $1,250 civil penalty and $100 court costs. (Sentencing: Honorable Adria A. Kester)
Persons pleaded not guilty at arraignment as follows: Erica Murphy, 26, of Jefferson, possession of methamphetamine- first offense; Suanne Elaine Winters, 46, of Glidden, burglary- third degree; and Talon David Church, 19, of Ogden, OWI- first offense. Trial dates were set for Oct. 31 in every case.
Cases were initiated during the week ending Aug. 10 as follows: Amanda Fay Lawrence, 32, of Scranton, assault while participating in a felony (two counts), willful injury, and burglary- first degree; Jesse Lynn Crawford, 32, of Scranton, assault while participating in a felony (two counts), willful injury, burglary- first degree, and harassment- first degree; Michael Lee Mourlam, 20, of Scranton, possession of marijuana- first offense; and James Hubert Exline Jr, 46, of Jefferson, sex abuse- second or subsequent offense, and sex abuse- third degree.
